Looking for a VPS
I looking for a great VPS, there are some option: VPS.net, SuperB.net Linode and knownhost. I get some good review from Google, and it seems Superb.net is the most expensive one and even they charge for setup fee, can not believe that, maybe they just want push people to contract or pay yearly. anyway, it has free first 3 month, that sound good. and I plan to buy one. waiting for my review.

Overall: I’m enjoy the expensive with Linode, and their staff is very helpful and nice. So if you budget is ok, I would like to say go with Linode.

After working many hours over the past weeks i have finally found the solution to the high load averages that the majority of our Servers were experiencing. The issue all of the servers were experiencing was not easy to deal with which is why it took longer than i had hoped to resolve it.
The issue was basically with the Kernel version 028stab085.3PAE – we have now updated the majority of the Servers to 028stab085.5PAE and everything is returned back to normal.
We will be reviewing any and all tickets and updating them all accordingly.

I post one that W2 offer Super OpenVZ VPS Specifications you will see that W2 offer powerful VPS at lower price. but they like collect all the money at onec, the lower price only available for customer who want to pay by year. It is really risk. this is one post I find from WHT, and I hope it will help you to make a decision. But my personal, W2 is not bad.

First of all, I should tell you the most important: they have changed the TOS recently, they said they will never provide the refund for any product.
So how could you be more lucky than me?I bought their vps last month (1/3/2011). It’s a 512M vps paid for yearly 24$.
But the speed is too disappointed. Just about 100K though they said it’s 10M bandwidth.
First I think maybe it’s temporary. But after few days, I decide to upgrade it to Dedicated Servers because they said it will be 100M bandwidth.
I paid for it upgraded to Dedicated Servers, But I found it’s slow either, It’s about 200K actually though they said it’s 100M bandwidth.
I canceled my service of them and request full refund. But they tell me due to their TOS, the refund will be pending for 30 days! I can’t say anything about their TOS, So I am waiting for it.
Now it’s middle of April, I have submit two tickets on their whmcs system. But they are delayed day by day. I also sent email to their CEO: lfoster at w2interactive.net . But it’s delayed too. I didn’t get my refund till here.
At last, I made a complaint through Paypal. Luckly, paypal involved it very soon. I also get my refund at the end.
Till now, I am very angry with such a shameless VPS provider. I share my warning here for everyone who are in W2 or to W2.

in my opinion, Burstnet’s VPS is not bad, in fact is stable. so I think it is a good deal. the cheapest plan is only cost you around 5 after discount.

20TB look like you get lots, but you should conside that you only get little RAM. Also they do not offer any backup plan. if you want to do some business, I think you need to increase your budget or backup frequently. anyway, this one still is a good deal.
